Natures Oils were honoured to be asked to show-case their Award Winning Sauces at such a prestigious event.

The Glanbia Kilkenny Business Awards 2014 were celebrated at The Lyrath Estate Hotel on Saturday 15th November.  Over 500 local business people gathered to recognise the enterprising companies who are shaping the landscape of the Kilkenny economy.

From over 300 separate nominations some 47 local enterprises were short-listed as finalists in this year's awards and the overall winners were announced at Kilkenny Chamber's flagship event hosted by R.T.E. broadcaster Mary Kennedy.

The prestigious "Food and Drink Producer of the Year," was awarded to Nature's Oils and Sauces.

Nature’s Oils recognised as Inter Trade Ireland Business Ambassadors

In October 2014 Shining lights of Irish SME sector were recognised as champions of enterprise and innovation.  63 companies were recognised as InterTradeIreland Business Ambassadors at event hosted by Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD.

The event was held in the Mansion House in Dublin and every county in Ireland was represented by the Business Ambassadors, who were nominated as companies that had successfully embraced innovation; developed new cross-border markets or secured venture capital with InterTradeIreland’s support. Representing the full spectrum of industries, the companies have generated approximately €20 million in additional business value to the Irish economy to date.

Speaking at the event, Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation, Richard Bruton TD said;

“Today’s announcement that these 63 small businesses have generated a total of €20million in trade is a great example of what can be achieved by our innovative SMEs, helped by some support  from Government. I am delighted to congratulate them on their achievements. Their tenacity and energy to persevere through challenging economic times is to be commended and as we embrace economic growth, and I wish them every success in the future.”

The group of InterTradeIreland Business Ambassadors were also invited to meet President Michael D. Higgins at a special reception at Áras an Uachtaráin to mark their achievements where he described the companies as “the finest of Irish entrepreneurial spirit and innovation”.
